  1. Do Muslims and Christians worship the same God?

Muslims hold that there is only one Creator, so Jews, Christians and Muslims all intend the same God. The disagreement is not over which being is meant but over what is truly said of Him, above all whether God has a son or is three persons.

  2. Why do Muslims say ﷺ after the Prophet’s name?

It abbreviates ṣalla Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam, “God bless him and grant him peace.” Muslims say it because the Qur’an commands believers to ask blessings on the Prophet, and because the Prophet taught that each such prayer is answered tenfold.
